I am still receiving reports of stripers off the surf – two anglers caught a couple of 30″ plus yesterday right out here in Beach Haven. Blues, sharks and skates continue to get hooked too. The Spring Derby and our In-store tournament goes until Sunday so there is still time to enter fish! Marc Sarnitsky is in the lead for the store tournament with 17.08 lbs.
Fluking continues to be good out back as well. Minnows, gulp and spearing are what’s hot.
Rained hard last night, but looks like we will escape it for the rest of the day. Water temperature is 68.
