We received more reports of stripers – both the surf and the bay. Bunker, clams (fresh or salted) and plugs are all working. Water temperature is about 56 degrees and its a warm muggy morning with on and off showers all day.
Patrick Presutto is the current leader for bass in the Spring Derby with a 37 1/2″ bass weighing 22.64lbs. The Derby runs until June 24th so still plenty of time to register. Our In-Store tournament is running until the same time for the biggest striper caught from the surf. No weigh-ins at present time!
