OK – We have our first picture of kingfish in the surf! Tyler Carlson sent us this image of a 12″ he caught yesterday morning in Spray Beach. Still a lot of brown shark, some bluefish and some fluke off the surf too. On the back side, The Miss Beach Haven had 4 fluke keepers the day before yesterday but the bay was a little dirty yesterday. Crabbing is picking up.
We had some downpours last night and I keep checking the radar to see if we are going to get hit this with this next batch coming along. But once that passes we should have a pretty good, but hot and humid day. We have a SW wind this morning blowing about 20mph. Water temp is about 67.
