Happy Father’s Day – Fluke out back

Happy Father’s Day!

We had some fluke weigh-ins yesterday!  Steve Webb brought in a 3.36lb, 22.5″ fluke which puts him in second place for the Jingles Fluke Tournament.  He caught it on a floating bucktail.  Then Joe and Ben Filice had 3 keepers, we weighed two – Joe’s was 2.46lbs and Ben’s was 3.26lb.  Joe used a bucktail and gulp and Ben used minnows.  They all got them right out back.

Surf saw some fluke also, as well as blues, sharks and skates.  Bait continues to be what works in the surf, bunker and salted clams.

Another beautiful sunny day – four in a row…. I think this is a record for the year so far!  Get our there with your dad and enjoy the day!
