Story … how to turn young boys into “ striped bass fishermen “ … these two beach boys were presented with an unusual opportunity when surfcaster Mike hooked into an unknown but strong fish .. with the fish on pulling the line south … the two boys ran down to to surf to watch the action. One boy said can we watch … and the impulse struck and I responded by saying “watch? Heck no … just take my pole and start reeling in” with a small amount of senior guidance the two boys successfully beached a spectacular looking 31 inch striped bass. For their efforts they were awarded the opportunity to take possession … which they gleefully accepted. We wrapped the prize in a towel and the boys were last seen running with the fish back to their beach house for dinner!
