It’s another warm partly sunny morning here in Beach Haven! Winds this morning are coming from the SW at about 11mph. The surf is currently relatively calm but with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 4-5oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 68°. The air temp is currently 72° and heading to 79°.

The bay is calm and 68°.

Reports of bluefish, fluke, dogfish and rays off the beach. And as I said, an occasional striped bass here there. John Hummel and his crew had a great week – 30 dogfish, a couple rays, several bluefish and three stripers… the last one being on Thursday. So a few hanging around! In the bay we have bluefish, fluke and some weakfish.

Come in and sign up for our in-store fluke tournament. It runs the entire season… prizes up to fourth place!

Today we have SURF CLAMS, MINNOWS and BLOODWORMS! Don’t forget your bait bucket. If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Catching fish?? Send us your reports to jinglesbait@comcast.net.
