One more beautiful sunny June morning here in Beach Haven! Winds are mild today coming from the SSE at about 5mph. The surf is calm today with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 66°. The air temp is currently 68° and heading to 72°.
The bay is calm and 66°.
Low tide is at 1:38AM and 1:33PM. High tide is at 7:28AM and 7:49PM.
Continued reports of bluefish, and fluke off the beach and still an occasional striped bass. Bluefish are hitting on bunker, mullet and top water poppers. In the bay we had a couple weakfish caught yesterday by our very own Tony and his fishing buddy Randy. Randy’s weighed in a 3.5#. Tony’s was a little heavier. Also had a report of fluke and bluefish in the bay in addition to the weakfish.
