DAILY REPORT

It’s another beautiful sunny June morning here in Beach Haven! Winds are mild today coming from the ENE at about 4mph. The surf is calm today with 0-1 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 66°. The air temp is currently 66° and heading to 69°.

The bay is calm and 66°.

Low tide is at 12:45AM and 12:42PM. High tide is at 6:34AM and 7:00PM.

So I was away for the weekend so I have a handful of reports and pictures starting Thursday afternoon. To start, Rich Sherman had a big bluefish – 36″ and 11.18 that put him in first place for the Jingles In-store tournament! AND the big monster striped bass are still out there…Rich Sherman struck again on Friday when he caught this beautiful 44″ striper on in Spray Beach using surf clams, and on Monday we had Tom Brander had with this beautiful 47″ striper caught in Beach Haven! Also on Friday, we received this picture of this cobia off the surf caught by George weighing about 24.5#. On Saturday we saw some more blues with Brandon who caught a couple, the biggest being 30″ and 8.72#. And lastly, in the bay, Joe Marcario had this 21.5″ fluke at 3.28#.
