DAILY REPORT

It’s an overcast, rainy and WINDY morning today in Beach Haven. Winds are currently strong coming from the ENE at about 21mph. This morning, the surf is ROUGH with 4-5 foot waves. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 55°. The air temp is currently 52° and heading down to 52°.

The bay is relatively calm and 56°.

Low tide is at 4:24AM and 4:19PM. High tide is at 10:19AM and 10:32PM.

Stripers and bluefish are still out in that surf! Bunker and clams are the bait to use. Steve Dorwart had a weigh-in yesterday for the Spring Derby and the In-store tournament. His striper is now in second place for both tournaments at 30″ and 10.86#! The surf also has some black drum and a few fluke too. Tomorrow will be a better day so get down here and get fishing!
