It’s another cool overcast morning today in Beach Haven. 🙁 Winds are currently are coming from the E at about 7mph. This morning, the surf is choppy with 1-2 foot waves. You will need 4-5 oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 52°. The air temp is currently 50° and heading to 52°.
The bay is calm and 56°.
Low tide is at 11:32AM. High tide is at 5:00AM and 5:37PM.
The bluefish were here yesterday afternoon! Had three weigh-ins right at the end of the day. Rich Sherman and Dan Halick were fishing together in Spray Beach when they got one hit after the other. Rich’s bluefish was for the store and Spring Derby tournaments at 35″ and 10.38#. Dan’s blue was for the store tournament and 31.75″ and 8.34# – both caught on bunker. Shortly after Jeff Rummel, who just signed up for both tournaments earlier in the day had a 34″ and 10.64# bluefish also on bunker – he was in Beach Haven.
