It’s a bright sunny but cool morning today in Beach Haven! Sun should keep shining all day but it’s not going to warm up too much. Winds are mild this morning coming from the ENE at about 8mph. Currently, the surf is choppy but with only 1-2 foot waves. You will need 4-5 oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 52°. The air temp is currently 45° (feels like 39) and heading to 52°.

Low tide is at 4:19AM and 4:08PM. High tide is at 10:02AM and 10:11PM.
It’s been a couple of day since a Spring Derby weigh-in but striped bass are still being caught up and down the island. Rob Z and Bob G were both out mid-week and each caught stripers that were just under, and I have had others come in the store who had some nice keepers. And don’t forget to try for the bluefish – there were two bluefish weigh-ins earlier in the week.
