DAILY REPORT

And one more BEAUTIFUL mild morning here in Beach Haven but the clouds have already started moving in. Showers are supposed to come in this afternoon so enjoy the morning! Winds this morning are almost non-existent coming from the SE at about 3mph. The surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves . You will need 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 52°. The air temp is currently 57° and heading to 61°.

The bay is flat calm and 56°.

Low tide is at 10:30AM and 10:36PM. High tide is at 3:35AM and 4:20PM.

I had 2 reports report from the surf yesterday – Jamie caught two 26″ bass caught using surf clams and Brandon got a 31″ striper in Surf City using sandworm on a kingfish rig! Also had reports on artificial shad. I am seeing some bigger bass being caught off the surf south of us so they should be making their way here. Bay fishing still hot with keeper striped bass using artificials and bloodworms – a good place is around the sod banks. There have also been reports of kingfish and black drum in the bay.
