It’s BEAUTIFUL!! Finally, it’s a gorgeous Sunday April morning here in Beach Haven. Everything has settled down and its a great day to get out and fish! Winds are coming from the WSW at about 9mph. The surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves . You will need 3-4oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 49°. The air temp is currently 52° and heading to 63°.
The bay is calm and 50°.
Low tide is at 7:20AM and 7:14PM. High tide is at 12:44AM and 1:27PM.
Bay fishing still hot with keeper striped bass using artificials and bloodworms – a good place is around the sod banks. Not much reported on the surf yet but it should be soon! But its a great day so a get out there on the beach and enjoy. Also seeing some reports of kingfish.
