Daily Report

It’s a bright and sunny, but WINDY morning here in Beach Haven today! Enjoy it this morning because rain is coming in this afternoon. Currently winds are strong coming from the E at about 14mph. The surf is moderate with 2-3 foot waves (low tide) but coming in very frequently. You will need 6-7oz to hold. The LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 56°. The air temp is currently 47° and heading to 48°.

The bay is calm and 49°.

Low tide is at 8:23AM and 9:00PM. High tide is at 1:57AM and 2:16PM.

There have been a few more tog weigh-ins and striped bass weigh-ins for the LBI Classic. A couple of them caught down here in Beach Haven! Also here in Beach Haven, Kevin Burns caught a non-tournament keeper striped bass caught on salted clams. Out in the ocean the other day, Michael Schreiber and Jeff Wannamaker had a great trip bringing in 6 monster bass all released safely – largest being 48″ est 55-60lbs. They were just off of Holgate/Beach Haven.
