It’s a cloudy morning here in Beach Haven today. Winds are coming from the E at about 12mph. Currently, the surf is choppy with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 74°. (Reminder… that’s not swim temp)! The air temp is currently 72° and heading to 75°.
The bay is relatively calm and 74°.
Low tide is at 12:03AM and 12:047PM. High tide is at 5:52AM and 6:19PM.
The surf still has a bunch of fluke and snapper blues. There is an occasional kingfish here and there. The bay has fluke, blowfish, and snapper blues. We had a fluke weigh-in for the store tournament on Saturday. Tanner Johnson caught this 5.46# and 24″ fluke out at their “secret spot” in the ocean! This put Tanner in 4th place in the store tournament, with 3 Johnsons in the top 4!!
