Daily Report

It’s a mostly cloudy, morning here in Beach Haven but the sun is trying to fight its way out ! Winds are strong coming from the N at about 17mph. Currently, the surf is moderate with 1-2 foot swells. You will need 2-3oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 76°. (Reminder… that’s not swim temp)! The air temp is currently 74° and heading to 75°.

The bay has a real slight chop and 75°.

Low tide is at 5:51AM and 6:33PM. High tide is at 12:22PM.

In the surf anglers are still catching fluke, snapper bluefish, spot and an occasional kingfish. In the bay, there are fluke, weakfish, snapper blues and spot. Out at the inlet there are fluke and the reefs have fluke and sea bass. Sea bass is only open for the rest of the month at (1) 12.5″ per person.

Had a great kids clinic yesterday and there are 5 new junior anglers on the island! Next class is tomorrow at 9am. There are still a few openings left so call the store to register.
