It’s a partly cloudy, partly sunny, rainy, dry warm morning here in Beach Haven (lol – that’s the kind of morning it is!). But the sun is coming through and its going to be a beautiful day! Winds are SW at about 13mph. Currently, the surf is relatively calm with a 1-2 foot frequent waves. You will need 3-4oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 76°. (Reminder… that’s not swim temp)! The air temp is currently 76° and heading to 84°.

The bay is calm and 75°.

Low tide is at 3:56AM and 4:00PM. High tide is at 9:57AM and 9:56PM.

In the surf anglers are still catching fluke and snapper bluefish. In the bay and inlet there are fluke, and snapper bluefish and lots of fluke in the inlet.

The 54th Annual White Marlin International Tournament kicked off yesterday with a bunch of boats out for the first day. Heaviest tuna weighed in yesterday was 115.9# brought in the boat Bandit. You can watch weigh-ins for the tournament down on Dock Road at the Dock Road Marlin Fest! There are also vendors, music, food, and drinks. It’s fun for the whole family! And don’t forgot to stop into the Jingles booth where we have a bunch of new products – our new pint glasses, kids fish shirts and and kids Jingles sweatshirts! We also have our adult Marlin/Tuna sweatshirts and T-shirts and a whole lot more! AND…The 54th Annual WMIT is presented to you by the Miss Beach Haven!
