It’s another beautiful, mild morning here in Beach Haven! Winds are coming from the N at about 12mph. Currently, the surf is calm with a 2-3 foot swell on occasion. You will need 2-3oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 78°. (Reminder… that’s not swim temp)! The air temp is currently 71° and heading to 76°.
The bay is calm and 72°.
Low tide is at 2:12AM and 2:15PM. High tide is at 8:02AM and 8:24PM.
In the surf, anglers still doing well with fluke, little bluefish, spot and an occasional kingfish. In the bay they are still catching fluke, blowfish, bluefish and some weakfish. Out at Little Egg, the Miss Beach Haven is starting to see more keeper fluke and has also been killing it with sea bass hitting the limit each time. Today she still has availability on the afternoon bay trip from 1-4pm and tomorrow she is schedule for a 3/4 day out to the reef.
Yesterday we had another successful Kids Clinic and the island has 7 new anglers!! Congrats to all.
