Daily Report

It’s a mostly sunny morning with a little haze over the ocean, here in Beach Haven! Winds are mild coming from the SW at about 6mph. Currently, the surf is a little rough with 4-5 foot waves coming quite frequently. You will need 4-6 oz to hold. LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 77°. Don’t let that temperature fool you… you can feel the cool mist coming off the ocean! The air temp is currently 75° and heading to 84°.

The bay is calm and 76°.

Low tide is at 1:01AM and 12:49PM. High tide is at 6:52AM and 7:10PM.

Fluke, some bluefish and some kingfish in the surf. In the bay there is fluke, bluefish, blowfish and an occasional weakfish. Out at Little Egg Reef, the Miss Beach Haven has been getting fluke and sea bass. She has trips out to the reef every morning (ocean permitting) and bay trips every afternoon!

Yesterday we had another Kids Clinic success story! Wyatt was over at 2nd street and caught some sea bass using his equipment and knowledge gained from class. Those smiles are the best! Kids Clinics are every Monday and Wednesday at 9am! Call the store for availability and to register.
