HAPPY 4TH OF JULY,
It is/was a tad hazy along the surf, but beautiful in Beach Haven again. It is cloudless and sunny. The ocean temp is 69°. The surf is calm with 1 to 2 foot waves. The wind is calm, virtually nonexistent. You should hold with 3 to 4 ounces. The air temp is 74° and heading to 81°. As a side note, I am changing my data collection for the ocean temp to the NOAA site taken in Atlantic City, hopefully it will better reflect the actual water temp.
The bay is flat calm and currently 74°.
High tide is at 9:49AM and 10:00PM. Low tide is at 3:57PM.
There are still king fish galore in the surf and fluke (mostly shorts with some keepers mixed in). The bay is still fluke productive. It seems as though fluke are BEGINNING to show up at the reefs, along with small sea bass (Little Egg and GS South).
