Daily Report

It’s a bit overcast, with the sun pushing its way out kind of morning here in Beach Haven. Winds are a bit stronger this morning, making it feel cooler than it is, coming from the SSW at about 13mph. The surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves coming in pretty frequently. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. Sandy Hook buoy temp is 79°, LBI 5th Street Beach Haven sea temperature is 78° and The Atlantic City buoy temp is 63°. The air temp is currently 77° and heading to 84°.

The bay is calm and 76°.

Low tide is at 9:56AM and 11:03PM. High tide is at 3:28AM and 4:08PM.

Surf still has kingfish, although word is they are being tricky to find. The surf also has fluke. In the bay there are blowfish and still some fluke – shown here by Colt with the 21.5″, 3.5lb fluke he caught on Friday using minnows he got here at Jingles! In the inlet there continues to be a ton of fluke – shorts and keepers. Out at the reefs there are some nice sea bass and In the rocks there are tog.

Today we have FRESH BUNKER, minnows and bloodworms.
