Daily Report

It’s a mostly cloudy, hazy morning today on the beach in Beach Haven. However, it should clear up to be a nice afternoon. Currently, the wind is coming from the S at about 9mph. The surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 68°. The temp is currently 70° and heading to 76°.

The bay is flat calm and 67°.

Low tide is at 1:33AM and 1:33PM. High tide is at 7:21AM and 7:46PM.

No Derby weigh-ins yesterday and there are two weeks left in the tournament – but don’t give up, you can still beat out another angler, as we saw done on Friday! Surf is still producing bluefish, some striped bass and lots of dogfish. We did have a fluke weigh-in yesterday though… Michael Schreiber and his crew did some fishing late afternoon, and he is now in 1st place in our store fluke tournament with this 23″, 4.86lb fluke caught using gulp. He is also holding Matt’s 19″ fish. In the bay, there are fluke, weakfish and some bluefish.

Today we have fresh bunker.
