Daily Report

It’s a mostly cloudy and cooler morning here in Beach Haven today. We are looking at the possibility of spotty showers this afternoon. Currently, the wind is almost non-existent, coming from the NW at about 4mph. The surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 67°. The temp is currently 66° and heading to 76°.

The bay is calm and 65°.

Low tide is at 11:48AM. High tide is at 5:24AM and 6:02PM.

The Spring Derby has a new bluefish leader – Bayside Dave brought in a 13.14lb bluefish yesterday down here in Holgate using a plug!! We have seen a little more bluefish action recently as opposed to striped bass. See the Striper Migration map and you see the big ones have moved further on up north. In the bay, there are fluke, weakfish and some bluefish. Out at the reefs you can go for sea bass for one more week, it closes on June 19th.

The 2nd Annual Beach Haven Tuna Open will wrap up tonight with weigh-ins and food and music from 5-9 and the awards ceremony at 9pm tonight.
