Daily Report

A little overcast this morning but otherwise pretty similar to yesterday morning. Currently, the wind is strong blowing from the E at about 9mph. The surf is moderate with 2-3 foot waves coming in at a high frequency due to the wind. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 58°. The temp is currently 59° and heading to 63°.

Low tide is at 11:49AM. High tide is at 5:31AM and 6:05PM.

The bay is calm and 59°.

Two more Derby weigh-ins yesterday!! Rich Sherman took first place in the Bluefish category with this 10.58lb, 35″ blue! This is the first bluefish weighed in here so he is also in first place for our store tournament. Rich caught this bluefish in Spray Beach using bunker. Randy Bush put another striped bass on the board – This one was 33″ and 11.84lbs. Caught in Beach Haven on surf clam. Aside from stripers and bluefish, anglers are starting to catch some kingfish in the surf. In the bay there are fluke and weakfish.

Today we have surf clam (a few left), fresh shucked clams and bloodworms.
