It’s a gray overcast morning here in Beach Haven today. Get out there early because cold, rain and wind are coming in for the weekend. Currently, the wind is almost non-existent from the E at about 3mph. The surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 53°. The temp is currently 54° and heading to 56°.

The bay is flat calm and 57°.

Low tide is at 6:24AM and 6:06M. High tide is at 12:45PM.

Rich Sherman had a derby weigh-in yesterday – 8.78lb, 29.5″ striped bass caught with surf clam in Spray Beach. Anglers continue to catch bass up and down the island. Also more reports of fluke right in back in the bay.

Today we have fresh shucked clams, fresh bunker and live minnows.
