It’s a gray overcast morning, with the sun starting to pop out, here in Beach Haven today. Currently, the wind is from the NNE at about 12mph. The surf is moderate with 2-3 foot waves. You will need 3-4 oz to hold. The ocean temp is 51°. The temp is currently 52° and heading to 54°.

The bay is calm and 54°.

Low tide is at 4:27AM and 4:016M. High tide is at 10:24AM and 10:25PM.

Another derby weigh-in yesterday – 20.22lbs, 36 7/8″, Jay Shane added one to the board using salted clam up in Surf City. Many other bass caught as well – Domnic Bongiovi caught this non tournament bass, just as he was packing up yesterday in Spray Beach – 15.22lbs and 35″. He was also using salted clams. As for the start of fluke season, Rocco Saraullo brought in this 2.44lb and 19″ fluke he caught out back using minnows.

Today we have surf clams in the shell, and fresh shucked. We also have live minnows.
