UPDATED: It’s another sunny, mild morning here in Beach Haven! Currently, the wind is picking up coming from the ESE at about 18mph. Currently, the surf is moderate with 2-3 foot waves coming in at a high frequency. You will need at about 3-4 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 57° and heading to 64°! The ocean temp is 58°.
The bay has a very slight chop and 50°.
Low tide is at 12:34AM and 1:17PM. High tide is at 6:49AM and 7:09PM.
No weigh-ins yesterday but the fish are here and today is a beautiful day to get out and fish. There are two prizes waiting for the next striper to be weighed in – $250 cash and a $100 Jingles gift card! Bay is quiet and we have had no offshore reports to date, but expect that to pickup as the weekend nears. UPDATED – Sorry, I was incorrect – the $250 was claimed on the 16th.
Today we have fresh bunker and eels. Will have more green crabs this afternoon.
