It’s a BEAUTIFUL, sunny, mild morning here in Beach Haven so far…… However, the winds are going to pick up, we are going to see some rain and it going to get cooler. Currently, the wind is mild coming from the ESE at about 15mph but its going to pick up to 25-30mph with gusts up to 45. Currently, the surf is moderate (as the tide is still going out), with 3-4 foot waves. You will need at about 5-6 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 56° and heading to 60°. The ocean temp is 60°.
The bay is calm and 55.5°.
Low tide is 9:20AM and 9:49PM. High tide is at 2:54AM and 3:11PM.
There was derby another striper weigh-in yesterday by Randall Kreig – 33.25″ and 12.32lbs! More reports of oversized bass being caught as well as some shorts. Up at the rocks, the Tog bite has been good. The morning is mild, get out there now!
Today we have eels, fresh bunker and green crabs.
