It’s a wet, rainy, WINDY, but mild morning here in Beach Haven today! Yet, I see the sun trying to come out right now! Currently, the wind is strong coming from the SSE at about 25mph. The surf is rough with 3-4 foot waves. You will need at about 7-8 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 63° and heading to 65°. The ocean temp is 60°.
The bay is calm and 60°.
Low tide is 8:15AM and 8:57PM. High tide is at 1:53AM and 2:13PM.
There was derby another striper weigh-in on Thursday and one this morning. On Thursday, Tyler Conrad weighed in a 28.25″, 7.85 bass caught in North Beach on Bunker and today, Tyler Leary caught a 29.5″ and 8.88lb bass in Barnegat Light on a lure. There have been a couple more big bass catch and release bass reported here in Beach Haven over the past couple of days. Up at the rocks, the Tog bite has been good.
Today we have eels, fresh bunker and green crabs.
