Another overcast and WINDY morning here in Beach Haven today. Currently, the wind is strong coming from the NE at about 17mph. The surf is rough with 3 to 4 foot waves. You will need at about 7-8 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 68° and heading to 70°. The ocean temp is 69°.
The bay is calm and 66°.
Low tide is 7:01AM and 8:07PM. High tide is at 1:01AM and 1:28PM.
No reports over the two few days because its been so windy, but in the surf, there ares still kingfish and cocktail blues. We had a kingfish weigh-in on Saturday, the first day of the tournament – Derek Mason – 14″ and 1.06lbs caught on bloodworms. In the back off the sod banks there are stripers you can get using a top water plug. Still getting weakfish too.
Today we have fresh bunker and and bloodworms.
