Daily Report

It’s a beautiful, sunny, warm morning here in Beach Haven! We hope everyone is safe and doing ok from the tornado that touched down on the north end of the island last evening. The wind this morning is coming from the WSW at about 12mph. The surf is calm with 0-1 foot waves. You will need about 3-4 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 75° and heading to 81°. The ocean temp is 76°.

The bay has a slight chop and is 73°.

Low tide is 7:11AM and 7:52PM. High tide is at 1:05AM and 1:38PM.

Getting kingfish, bluefish, fluke, sharks and rays in the surf. Andrew caught this 2.96lbs fluke from the surf on Tuesday. The bay is crushing fluke and blues in the inlet. Still seeing some weakfish too. Reports are still good for crabbing.  Out at the reefs, anglers are doing well with fluke and sea bass. Tog opens on Sunday – 1 fish at 15″.

Today and tomorrow are the last two days for the first segment of our In-store fluke tournament! Pot is $450. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place winners. You can still come out on top!! Second segment starts Sunday, August 1st. $10 to enter.
