Daily Report

It’s a gray, overcast morning today in Beach Haven. The wind is mild this morning, out of the NW at 6mph. Currently, the surf is a little rough with 2 to 3 foot waves. You will need about 4-5 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 63° and heading to 72°. The ocean temp is 70°.

The bay is calm and 68°.

Low tide is at 3:05AM and 3:08PM. High tide is at 8:56AM and 9:17PM.

No weigh-ins yesterday. This is the last weekend of the Spring Derby and out In-Store Striper/Bluefish tournament. Any big straggler bass out there? Any more big blues? We are still getting reports of king fish in the surf with blue fish coming in little by little. There are fluke and weakfish in the bay.

We are all stocked up for Fluke-a-Mania tomorrow, Saturday, June 26th over at the Beach Haven Marlin & Tuna Club. There is still time to register at the Captains meeting tonight from 7-9pm. There are prizes for men, women, teen and junior categories! Go to www.flukeamania.com for more information. 10% of Calcutta winnings goes to benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Today we have plenty of minnows for fluke fishing this weekend and bloodworms.
