Daily Report

Today we have a cooler, overcast morning in Beach Haven. The wind has shifted and is now coming out of the E at about 16mph. Currently, the surf is a moderately calm but the frequency of waves is high, with 2 to 3 foot waves and occasionally a bigger swell. You will need about 4-5 ounces to hold. The temp is currently 64° and heading to 66°. The ocean temp is 66°.

The bay is calm and 63.5°.

Low tide is at 3:31AM and 3:17PM. High tide is at 9:22AM and 9:19PM.

No weigh-ins yesterday but anglers are still catching stripers and kingfish in the surf. Saw some bluefish reports further up north. There are fluke and weakfish in the bay. Sea bass bite out at the reefs.

At the 1st Annual Beach Haven Tuna Open, there were bluefin, yellowfin and bigeye tuna weighed-in, for a total of 17 fish. The tournament continues through Saturday with boats allowed to fish one day only. Check it out at www.tunaopen.com. Good luck to all the anglers!
