It’s another BEAUTIFUL, bright morning here in Beach Haven! There is a very slight breeze coming from the WNW today. The surf is calm with 1-3 foot waves. Currently you will need 3-4 ounces to hold. The ocean temp is 59°. The air temp is 52° heading to 69°.
The bay is calm and the temp is 53°.
Low tide was at 6:40AM and 7:59PM. High tide is at 12:55PM.
We had a weigh-in yesterday!! Non-tournament but off the surf in Holgate, Nick Petrus caught this 32.5″ and 14.4lb striped bass using squid! Nick won the $25 gift card. Some other stripers caught over the last couple of days using clams, lures, metal, and plastics. Have had a couple reports of evasive bluefish too. There has also been some success trolling for stripers within the 3-mile mark north of the island.
