It’s a hazy mild morning here in Beach Haven! Should burn off to be a nice day. There is a very slight breeze coming from the SW. The surf is calm with 2-3 foot waves. Currently you will need 3-4 ounces to hold. The ocean temp is 58°. The air temp is 52° heading to 66°.
The bay is flat calm and the temp is 53°.
Low tide was at 4:38AM and 5:45PM. High tide is at 10:54AM and at 11:58PM.
Still no recent weigh-ins for the derby. There was a big cow caught off the surf up in Surf city the other day. A few little ones off the surf this way. Oliver came down for a couple of days and caught this guy using an SP Minnow. What has been caught so far has been on plastics, metal, SP Minnows, squid, etc. This was the time two years ago the run started here on the island. Who will be the first striper weighed-in at Jingles?? We have a $25 gift card for the first one!
