Made a tuna run yesterday 52 miles out to the Pork Chop, there was plenty of action but we didn’t hook up. I retreated to Garden State South and caught 3 shorts at the same despot we got keepers the day before, with two enormous (15, 16 inches) Black Sea Bass, they had a beautiful black and purple hue to them, but sadly they went back.
Surf has kingfish and fluke still, with reports from Spray Beach to Holgate. The back is still giving up nice sized fluke and weakfish.
