It is another sunny and clear morning in Beach Haven. On this date, Sept. 11, 2001, it was a also a gorgeous clear sunny day when 3000 people lost their lives just doing what they did every day, normal daily life. We remember the victims of 9/11 and pray for their families on this very difficult day. NEVER FORGET.
The surf is a little rougher today with 2 to 3 foot waves. Its a little breeze this morning with the wind out of the SW at 6mph. It will pick up as the day gets on to about 12mph. 3 to 4 ounces will hold. The water temp is 74°. The air temp is currently 70° and heading to 81°.
The bay is calm and 72°.
High tide was at 6:46AM and 7:02PM. Low tide is at 12:51PM.
The surf is yielding bluefish, bluefish, bluefish. Also some kingfish and small fluke in the wash. The bay still has fluke, blowfish and weakfish. Still reports of plenty of shorts at the reefs, inlet and in the bay but did have a report of 3 keepers caught yesterday afternoon right out back.
