It is cloudy this morning in Beach Haven, but predicted to clear up nicely. The surf is calm with 2 to 3 foot waves. The ocean temp is 69°. The wind is moderate and out of the NNW. You should hold with 3 to 4 ounces. The air temp is currently 74° and heading to 77°.
The bay has a slight chop and is 77°.
High tide is at 1:49PM. Low tide is at 7:20AM and 8:39PM.
We are still hearing about kingfish and cocktail blues in the surf. Fluke in the surf seems to have slowed a bit. The bay is STILL producing keeper fluke as witnessed by Dan Sweeney the other day. We went off shore yesterday in the afternoon and braved the rollers with our friend Al Stillman and his son Jake and brought back 14 banded rudder fish. The ocean was bubbling with bunker just off shore. We live lined a bit but to avail.
