Dan Halik caught this 30″ Black Drum in Spray Beach using salted clams. It weighed in at 16.5 lbs. Congratulations Dan!
We are looking at a beautiful morning and a beautiful week. Beach Haven temps will get up to the high 60’s today and water temp is still sitting around. 49. Besides Dan’s drum, I have seen reports of a few other good size drums as well as a few stripers caught off the surf, most of them have been caught on clams. It seems the surf is starting to see a bit more action.
