Stewart’s fluke

Today is the first day of tog season – 1 fish at 15″.   Fluke continues to produce keepers in the inlet and by the reef.  Stewart caught this 18.25″ fluke in the inlet using minnow and squid.  Snap blues as well.  One angler threw a quart of bunker chum over the bulkhead and the snappers were a plenty, they were swarming!  Crabbing has been really good too.

In the surf there are still fluke, kingfish, snappers, sharks and rays.

Today is going to be another warm, humid day.  Looks as if we may get some sun though.  Slight south winds this morning – wind looks like it will pick up this evening.  Water temp is in the mid 70’s.
