Sal sent us a couple of reports yesterday – he and his brother were at Morrison’s and got a couple of fluke 16″ and 17″ both on gulp. Sal got a small black sea bass and a nice bluefish also on a gulp jig head. The day before he was up at Barnegat and got a skate and 10 short fluke. He also caught this giant houndfish!
Then Ryan and Jack caught a 2.9lb, 20.5″ fluke and on squid and this sea bass on spearing out at the Little Egg South Reef yesterday.
A bit hazy this morning and already 75 degrees. Water temperature is 73. There is a S wind about 14 mph.
