Happy Labor Day! So we had a few weigh-ins yesterday afternoon!
First, Rosana Schreiber caught this 21″ and 3.48lb fluke yesterday putting her in second place for our In-Store Fluke Tournament that runs until Sept. 22nd. At the same time Ken Deflora, while fishing for fluke, caught this 13.88lb dolphinfish out at Little Egg Reef – with a fluke rig and a minnow….. And then shortly after, Gary Rowles caught this 7.08lbs doormat of a fluke. He was also at Little Egg Reef and he used Gulp Grubs. Gary unfortunately for him was not in the tournament!
On the surf, we heard about a couple fluke (shorts) and kingfish being caught along with the multiple hooked sharks and snapper blues.
Its a hot, hot morning, with no wind… so try to keep cool!
