The EPIC spring fishing continues! It’s a partly sunny, cool morning here in Beach Haven today. The wind right now is coming from the NW at about 9mph. Currently the surf is relatively calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need about 4-5oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is about 55°. The air temp is currently 52° and heading to 62°!
The bay has a little chop and is 54.5°.
Low tide is at 1:13AM and 1:12PM. High tide is at 7:06AM and 7:25PM.

Some recent weigh-ins have been… Danny Federico: 9.6#, 30.5″, Andrew Federico: 9.75#, 30″, Shawn Gallen: 8.2#, 29.5″, Udo Dressler: 8.45#, 30″, John Aspenleider: 9.5#, 30 7/8″, Jonathan Kelly: 9.85#, 30.75″. And in addition, we have Greg and Jonathan with a great day, John Weber and his catches ,Chris and his son CJ who had success in Beach Haven, and Derek who caught as few as well and anther with Danny and Andrew with their dad! People are catching multiple stripers in one outing.
If you haven’t signed up for the Spring Derby then you should get in it with all these striped bass being caught. There is still over a month left and you can register right up as far as the last day. But you need to register before bringing in a weigh-in! You can do that at one of the three tackle shops – Jingles, Fisherman’s HQ, and Surf City Bait & Tackle or now available ONLINE at www.lbisf.com!
