It’s a beautiful morning to get out and go fishing! The sun is shining brightly here in Beach Haven with the wind right now coming from the NNE at about 6mph. Currently the surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 4-5oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is about 49°. The air temp is currently 57° and heading to 58°.
The bay is calm and 50.4°.
Low tide is at 9:00AM and 9:13PM. High tide is at 2:14AM and 2:58PM.
THE STRIPERS ARE OUT THERE! And if you haven’t already, then you need to come to the island and fish! We had two stripers brought into the shop today – Pat Gallen was out for 15 minutes and caught a keeper on an SP Minnow this morning. His tournament striped bass was 8.9# and 30.5″ caught in Ship Bottom. Then Dave C brought in a non-tournament striper at 30″ – no weight… Just wanted his picture taken at Jingles :). Remember…. the striped bass don’t care that it’s raining. Don’t let the weather stop you, when the striped bass are here, they are here. And all this talk of stripers… inspired Connor to send this picture of he and Lucas who caught a striper last summer on gear they bought here at Jingles!
