This morning is a warm, sunny morning here in Beach Haven! The wind right now is mild coming from the SW at about 5mph. Currently the surf is calm with 3-4 foot waves. You will need about 4-5oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is about 49°. The air temp is currently 61° and heading to 69°.

The bay is flat calm and 56°.

Low tide is at 1:38AM and 1:47PM. High tide is at 7:32AM and 7:52PM.

WE HAVE SOME STRIPER ACTION!! We had two weigh-ins yesterday – one from the bay and one from the beach. Greg Lee and a friend came in yesterday afternoon. Greg had (a hair under) 31″ bass that weighed 10.3# (non-tournament). His friend had a 40″ catch just before him. They were both using an SP Minnow (that we have here at the shop 😉 and caught off the dock in Beach Haven. Then in the evening, Jonathan Kelly caught a 29″ and 7.55# striped bass that he caught in Holgate on surf clam – Jonathan is in the LBI Spring Derby and the Jingles store tournament. We also had a report from Mike Johnson – he caught a 27″ striped bass off the surf in Beach Haven using bloodworms. Its seems those striped bass are hungry so it’s time to get out there!
