HAPPY FOURTH OF JULY!! It’s another warm, sunny beautiful morning here in Beach Haven! This morning the wind is mild coming from the NNW at about 8mph. Currently the surf is calm with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Beach Haven water temp is 72.3°. The air temp is currently 73° and heading to 81°.
The bay is calm and 76.8°.
Low tide is at 9:36AM and 10:26PM. High tide is at 3:12AM and 3:51PM.
Fluke, fluke, fluke!! Lindsay DuAime caught this 2.98#, 20.5″ out back in the bay using minnows. And then Gary Rowles had a couple fluke tournament weigh-ins – his largest was 5.34#, 23.5″! There are fluke in the surf too along with plenty of dogfish and rays. Miss Beach Haven was out yesterday and caught a bunch of keeper fluke and sea bass! She is now going out everyday at 8am – noon, and select afternoon and dusk trips. She is going out tomorrow so book online at www.missbeachhaven.com!
Yesterday was our rain date for Wednesday’s Kids Clinic and it was a full class! We now have 9 new Janglers on the island – Congrats to class of Thursday, July 3rd!
