HAPPY DECEMBER!! It’s a COLD grey morning here in Beach Haven today! Winds this morning are coming from the W at about 10mph. The surf is flat, flat calm – like a lake! A swell comes every now and then. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Atlantic City buoy sea temperature is reported at 47.8°. The air temp is currently 30° (feels like 23) and heading to 41°.
The bay has a little chop and 40°.
Low tide is at 1:13AM and 2:03PM. High tide is at 7:24AM and 7:47PM.
Well we are down to a week left in the 70th Annual LBI Surf Classic! There have been no striper weigh-ins for almost a week – And I know that is not for a lack of trying. Right now the $250 Thanksgiving striper prize is still up for grabs! Water has definitely cooled down and boat striper fishing has been pretty hot. Down here in Beach Haven the beach replenishment has moved on to right in front of us – so don’t plan on getting onto the beach at the 13th street entrance. Good luck to all anglers for the last week of the tournament!
