DAILY REPORT

It’s a cold but sunny morning here in Beach Haven today! Winds this morning are strong coming from the NW at about 17mph but with stronger gusts. Winds will pick up a bit into the low 20’s as the day progresses. The surf is choppy but with 1-2 foot waves. You will need about 4-5oz to hold. Atlantic City buoy sea temperature is reported at 52.3°. The air temp is currently 42° (feels like 34) and heading to 50°.

The bay is choppy and 45°.

Low tide is at 7:35AM and 8:26PM. High tide is at 1:32AM and 1:39PM.

Weigh-ins cooled down over the past couple of days for the 70th Annual LBI Surf Classic! I think because of the wet weather and that it also got pretty cold that there were not many people out fishing. But Jimmy Betz did have a striped bass weigh-in yesterday at 10.34# caught on bunker. We now have two weeks left! Remember that it is not too late to register for the derby. Still lots of money on the table!

Just a reminder as you are catching striped bass and measuring them to keep – You measure from the closed mouth to the end of the pinched tail!

Today we have FRESH BUNKER, EELS, GREEN CRABS and FROZEN SAND FLEAS! Don’t forget your bait bucket. If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Catching fish?? Send us your reports to jinglesbait@comcast.net.
