We continue to have striped bass weigh-ins for the 70th Annual LBI Surf Classic! On Sunday afternoon, Sean Stevenson had a heck of a day back in the bay in Beach Haven. He caught five bass – one being 35″ and then got a keeper weighing in at 9.5# and 28.5″! Sean was using artificials. There have been bass weighed in just about every day. Most caught on artificils, plugs and diamond jigs. Anglers are also crushing it by boat and are catching COWS!! Some are trolling some are jigging – but there are big striped bass out there. Anglers are still doing very well with tog up at the lighthouse – Tog is now 5 per person limit.

Just a reminder as you are catching striped bass and measuring them to keep – You measure from the closed mouth to the end of the pinched tail!

Today we have FRESH BUNKER, EELS, GREEN CRABS and FROZEN SAND FLEAS! Don’t forget your bait bucket. If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Catching fish?? Send us your reports to jinglesbait@comcast.net.
