DAILY REPORT

Good Morning! It’s a beautiful, mostly sunny, October morning here in Beach Haven. Winds this morning are coming from the NW at about 10mph. The surf is currently calm with 2-3 foot waves. You will need about 3-4oz to hold. Atlantic City buoy sea temperature is reported at 62.1°. The air temp is currently 59° and heading to 65°.

The bay is a little choppy and is 58°.

Low tide is at 10:17AM and 11:00PM. High tide is at 4:01AM and 4:14PM.

It’s been a slow week for 70th Annual LBI Surf Classic weigh-ins. However, as of 10/25 there have been a total of 82 fish weighed-in! Most have been tog but there have been a few more striped bass over the last couple of days. All on the north end of the island and all with jigs/artificials. We are three weeks in and still 6 to go – you can still register and win money – right up to the last day! The surf has some blues and possibly a few more kingfish. In the bay there are stripers by the sod banks. Anglers have been doing very well with tog up at the lighthouse and out the reefs, I have already heard that the Miss Beach Haven is catching keeper sea bass today!

Today we have EELS and FROZEN SAND FLEAS! Don’t forget your bait bucket. If you do not have one, we have Jingles Bait Buckets for just $3! Catching fish?? Send us your reports to jinglesbait@comcast.net.
